Welcome to Camrose Alberta

Did you know that 100 years ago...
- The first meeting to organize a curling club in Camrose was held on November 27, 1911 - and now one hundred years later - we are hosting the men's provinicial bonspiel - The 2012 Alberta Boston Pizza Curling Cup.
- In 1911, the first enclosed arena skating rink built in Camrose had one sheet of ice on each side of the rink, reserved for curling.
Remember to get your tickets for the 2012 Alberta Boston Pizza Cup Provincial Men's curling bonspiel coming February 8-12, 2012.

Sledding/Tobogganing!
For a safer outdoor winter experience, Camrose has established two ‘safe sled hills’ for sledding and tobogganing. These hills are fenced, signed, have straw bales in place to identify the sledding area, and have proper outruns. The two areas are: 1) Jubilee Park (47 Avenue & 50 Street) – which has a light on a timer in the area; and, 2) Grand Drive Park (West of 58 Street on the South side of Grand Drive)
Or just go for a walk!
Our great 21 km of walking trails provide a convenient way to get that healthy Vitamen D from natural sunshine.
Grab a coffee at one of our downtown specialty coffee shops and take a self-guided tour of the historical downtown district of Camrose which includes fascinating buildings dating back over 100 years.
Or check out the boutique style shops downtown - the friendly staff will help you find unique treasures everywhere!
Our two museums are closed for the winter season, but will be re-opening in May.
