2012 Boston Pizza Cup Men's Provincial Championships:
As a final tribute to 100 years of curling in our community, Camrose is hosting the 2012 Alberta BostonPizza Cup Men's Provincial Championships February 8-12, 2012 at the Edgeworth Centre. Canada's Gold Medalist and four time Brier Champion Kevin Martin and his rink will be competiting for another provincial title. Kevin originally came from Lougheed, AB (about one- hour drive east of Camrose).

- The Edgeworth Centre is a state of the art facility which opened
its doors in September 2007 and is located at 4512 - 53 Street
(in Rudy Swanson Recreation Park). Border Paving Arena - regulation ice surface, cement floor, seating for 300 spectators and the EnCana Arena - regulation ice surface, cement floor, seating for 2300 spectators); Fitness Centre; Healthy Living Centre; Primary Care. - Bowling Alley:
- Camrose Curling Rink: large cement floor surface, 9 sheets, upstairs lounge
- Camrose Community Centre: multi-use floor & meeting rooms & locker rooms available
- Chuck McLean Arts Centre: several dance studios and recital hall
- Duggan Park Diamonds: 2 shale diamonds, fences 250 ft. plus
- Fitness Centres: 2 locations
- Max McLean Arena: regulation ice surface, cement floor, seating for 1200 spectators
- Miquelon Lake: 12 miles north of Camrose, great lake for water sports. Skateboard park, and a small scale basketball court (outdoors)
- West End Diamond: 1 shale diamond, fence is 225 ft plus
- Several Other School Gyms: all in excellent condition
- Several Halls: ranging in capacity from 100 – 300
- Composite High School NW Diamond: A shaled diamond, fence is 225 ft. plus
remove the 2 facilities that I have hi-lighted in RED. Add the Edgeworth Centre (Border Paving Arena - regulation ice surface, cement floor, seating for 300 spectators/EnCana Arena - regulation ice surface, cement floor, seating for 2300 spectators); Fitness Centre; Healthy Living Centre; Primary Care.
