Just upstream of Driedmeat Lake, the Aberhart Bridge fishing location is a popular local fishing hole.

The best canoeing in this area occurs during spring runoff. You can often spot pelicans, trumpeter swans, beavers, muskrat, and cattle among other wildlife.
