Hockey

Whether you like to be on the ice, amid the action or watching from the stands, hockey games are an iconic part of the Canadian winter. Camrose is home to some incredible teams that all play out of the Camrose Recreation Centre. Learn more about these iconic teams below!

Tie up some skates and get in on the action at public skating times. You can also partake in skating outdoors as weather permits during the colder winter months at 9 different park locations around Camrose.

Camrose Hosts 2024 Junior A Hockey Challenge

December 9-15, 2024
Encana Arena, Camrose, Alberta

Canada East, Canada West, Sweden and the United States will each play three preliminary-round games over the first four days of tournament action to determine seeding for the semifinals on Dec. 14, while the bronze medal and gold medal games are set for at 1 p.m. MT and 5 p.m. MT, respectively, on Dec. 15.
