Big Valley Jamboree; Camrose Regional Exhibition

Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) is Western Canada's premier country music festival, hosting country music's top recording artists over August long weekend. The event kicks off Thursday night with shows going until Sunday. There are also live rodeo events, mid-way fun, a trade show, on-site camping, and top tier live music.


August 1-3, 2025

Heritage Days; Pelican Point

Pelican Point welcomes you to attend their fun-filled lakeside celebration at Buffalo Lake. With a pancake breakfast, sandcastle contest, beach volleyball tournament, live music, and fireworks, it's the perfect way for families to enjoy summer and celebrate community spirit.



August 8-10, 2025

This is a 3 day festival featuring rock bands including Bandidos, The B34ST, and Gecko Band Vallarta.

August 12-13, 2025

This is an entertaining event, hosted as a traditional fair with education and competition.

RCMP Musical Ride; Camrose Regional Exhibition

A symbol of tradition, honor, and pride, the Musical Ride is a Canadian icon recognized at home and abroad. The Musical Ride supports front-line police operations by building positive relationships, supporting recruiting efforts and promoting the RCMP’s image in communities in Canada and around the world.

The troop of up to 32 riders, who are all police officers, and their horses perform intricate formations and drills set to music, lasting about 30 minutes. These movements demand the utmost control, timing, and coordination. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. The show starts promptly at 7:00pm each day with pre-show entertainment.

August 15-16

Camrose Blues Festival; Bailey Theatre

Dust off your dancing shoes because the Bailey Theatre is hosting the first annual Blues Festival in Camrose. You'll hear Tim Williams, Secondhand Dreamcar, and Guitar Rumble Friday evening. And Saturday, the afternoon session starts at 2:00pm with local artists Myra's Blues Corner and the Cranberries, and a solo set from Brent Parkin. That is followed by another 3 bands starting at 6:30pm: Samantha King & the Midnight Outfit, Front Porch Roots Review, and Big Dave McLean. Get tickets.

Family Fun Day; Meeting Creek

Get ready for track car rides and activities for the whole family! Lunch is served from 11-3 with pulled pork, homemade pie, and other refreshments.

Bullying Enns Show & Shine; Camrose Regional Exhibition

This event empowers bullied youth through motorcycles, riding, and community.

Explore small town farm life as it should be- by train! Stop along the way to visit with local farmers right in their fields. Learn about wildlife, birds, and flora from the guest expert on board and indulge in locally grown snacks and beverages along the way.

Open Farm Days; Camrose County

Visit openfarmdays.ca to find all the farms participating in this educational program. Also, make sure to stop by the Camrose Nature Conservation Centre August 16 for the community welcome barbecue hosted by Camrose County.

August 17, 2025

Celebrate local food on August 17 with an unforgettable evening of connecting with local food, local music, and local producers in an elegant setting. The event will start at 4:30pm with farm tours by wagon, cocktails at 5:30pm and supper served at 6:00pm. Get your tickets online prior to the event.

Taste Night at the Museum; Camrose Centennial Museum

The Woodshed; Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre

Acclaimed roots songwriters John Wort Hannam and T. Buckley make up The Woodshed, a modern folk duo based in Alberta, whose name refers to the beginning of Buckley and Hannam’s collaboration – woodshedding songs together during a residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in 2017. After a captivating performance at the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards, Buckley and Hannam finally decided to ratify their collaboration and bring The Woodshed to life. Together they bring a beautiful vocal blend of brotherly harmonies combined with gutsy and sophisticated song writing alongside intricate guitar playing.
