Miquelon Lake Provincial Park is located in the Beaver Hills Dark Sky Preserve meaning it is a great place to look at the stars and experience some extraordinary astronomical events. Hesje Observatory Located at the Augustana Miquelon Lake Research Station, the Hesje Observatory is a great place for astronomical observatory through one of their 3 telescopes. There is an observation deck around the dome where portable telescopes can be set up. Drop-in Thursday nights $15/person weather permitting. Canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddling (SUPing) is possible. Hiking & Biking The interconnecting trail system is a scenic setting for hiking and mountain biking. Skijouring Cross-country skiing with the help of one or more dogs equipped with sled dog harnesses is allowed on many trails. Fat biking Fat biking is permitted on certain trails traversing the park.
