July 2025- Events and Festivals in Camrose

Summers in Camrose are such a treat with events and festivals happening every weekend. We've curated some key events, farmers' markets, and live shows you won't want to miss. In between organized events, you can create your own adventures as well by checking out the trails, following along with the Cafe and Bakery Passport, or even just taking your pet on an adventure in the off-leash area. Make the most of your July 2025 in Camrose!


Formal Events & Festivals

June 28, 2025

This car show lines up fancy cars and trucks to showcase the hard work and efforts of many enthusiasts. Travel through time with some of the finest examples of automobiles all in one spot! The main street cruise will follow the show and shine around 5:00pm.

Fireworks; Double Dam Golf Course

The fireworks will begin at 10:30pm. Make sure to follow along on facebook for event updates.


July 1, 2025 (Canada Day)

Camrose; Camrose & District Centennial Museum

With a pancake breakfast, food trucks, a scavenger hunt, old time games, a whimsical bubble fairy, live music, fireworks, and more, Canada Day in Camrose has events to entertain everyone.

Edberg; Edberg Devonian Gardens

The parade starts at 11:00am with fun activities all afternoon. The day closes with fireworks at 11:00pm.


July 7 to 12, 2025

Get your passport of clues at the Camrose Visitor Information Centre (5402 48 Ave, Camrose) and collect stamps all week. Turn your stamps in by July 12 for your chance to win some great prizes!

July 12, 2025

This event connects gardeners and artists as the gardeners host artists working live in these gardens. Ticket holders will tour to see many beautiful gardens and talented artists.

Great Chili Cook-Off; Round Hill Rec Centre

Bring your best chili for a chance to win, or pay $10/person to taste all chilies! The tastings will be from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Register by July 1 to be a cook.

A Prairie Town Train Excursion; Departing Forestburg

Travel through the prairies and visit three rural communities along the Battle River Railway. This historic passenger train excursion will allow you to discover hidden gems, enjoy locally sourced meals, and indulge in freshly brewed beer in the former Rosalind School's Detention Brewery.


July 19, 2025

AB Parks Day; Miquelon Lake Provincial Park

Learn about the incredible features at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park during Alberta Parks Day with crafts, educational programming, a photo booth, exhibitors, and a hands-on opportunity to get involved in making our natural world a better place (invasive species weed pull).


July 26, 2025

Train Day; Camrose Heritage Railway Station

Enjoy speeder rides and participate in a scavenger hunt, along with food and beverages available for purchase. A day for the children and young at heart!

Camrose Air Show; Camrose Airport (July 26 & 27)

It's a bird... no, it's a PLANE! Watch the sky as Camrose welcomes the Royal Canadian Airforce Snowbirds to show off some incredible aerial maneuvers and formations. There will also be demonstrations by the Sky Hawk parachute team. Make sure to get the most up-to-date information as it becomes available from the Camrose Flying Club webpage including tickets, meet and greet events, and more.

Kickin' Country Parade; Downtown Camrose

Mascots, antique cars, horses, floats... this parade is everything you hope and dream a parade in Camrose will be! The parade starts at 10:30am and typically lasts about 40 minutes.

Big Valley Jamboree; Camrose Regional Exhibition

Big Valley Jamboree (BVJ) is Western Canada's premier country music festival, hosting country music's top recording artists over August long weekend. The event kicks off Thursday night with shows going until Sunday. There are also live rodeo events, mid-way fun, a trade show, on-site camping, and top tier live music.

Make sure to hit up farmers' markets for fresh produce, local artisan wares, and so much more.

Live Shows

July 2, 2025

The Hip Experience; The Bailey Theatre

International touring tribute act based out of Toronto, The Hip Experience, is dedicated to celebrating the music and legacy of the iconic Canadian rock band, The Tragically Hip.
