Whether you have just one day or a full weekend to explore, the Camrose region has romantic experiences for couples that want to get active and see the best that Camrose has to offer in all seasons.

One Winter Day & A Wonderland for Two

Morning - Strap on some snowshoes and traverse a loop or two at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park. Snowshoes are available to borrow from the Visitor Centre at the Day Use Area.
Brunch - The best brunch is at Spotlight Bistro in the Bailey Theatre. Enjoy their warm, homemade soups and delicious warm drinks.

Afternoon - Slide along the crisp, groomed trails in the Stoney Creek Valley. Parking is available either at the Stoney Creek Centre or at the Four Seasons Rotary Park. Make sure to check the snow conditions before you head out. You can borrow skis from the Augustana ski library.
Evening - take your pick at a selection of great restaurants in Camrose for dinner. Get inspired by our local's top picks.
A Weekend of Summer Fun and Paddling in Camrose for Couples
Day 1 Afternoon - Spend the afternoon picking berries and visiting Marigold Meadows. Stop for a snack from Bashaw Meats & Sausage or another restaurant in Bashaw.
BYOB (bring your own boat) for a 2-hour paddle from Edberg to Ferry Point, a scenic, beginner friendly section of the Battle River.

Day 1 Evening - Get a hearty supper from Double Dam Golf Course. If golfing is your style, have a round before turning in for the night at Cherry Lane B&B and Cafe. If golf isn't your game, Cherry Lane has foot and disc golf as well as peaceful places to relax while watching the prairie sunset. You could also opt to stay at LaPrairieaire Eco Tour's cabins overlooking the Ferry Point Bluffs.
Day 2 Morning - Pack a lunch from Cherry Lane and bring along some extra snacks as you prepare for your morning/afternoon activity. The next reach of the Battle River goes from Ferry Point to Hwy 854 (south of Rosalind) fondly known as the Magical Maple Route. It has many Manitoba Maples that grow along the banks. The total route is about 20km and will take at least 5 hours in higher flows.

Alternatively, you can head out to the Camrose Nature Conservation Centre and paddle on the little lake at your leisure.
